Hi guys, I have the opportunity to pick up a 135 gallon tank (72x18x24) for a cheap price. I would like a fish/eel that is more on the aggressive side. I usually keep reptiles but would like to branch out, what would be the best option to put in here. I appreciate the help!

Maybe one of the s smaller species of wolf fish.

I had a 135 unit it was stolen, it was 72x18x24. I always wished width and height were flipped. What is yours?

Have you posted in any of the sub forums? Expertise always lurks there

They r rather slow growers,it would take a long time for the fish to outgrow that tank, biggest I've ever seen was 16 inches.

Fortunately mine is switched. So the depth is 24 inches I believe. I haven't because I didn't think It would be the appropriate place to go since I'm no sure what I want

They r similar in care to largemouth bass and while they love live foods they can be pellet trained,if u enjoy feeding em live foods u can feed them:crickets, minnows, guppies, crayfish, shrimp, earthworms etc.
They r tolerant of a wide variety of tempatures and are pretty hardy.
Tankmates should be too big to swallow.
I believe jonahs aquarium had some for sale last I checked.

What about filtration? Are they messy?
