i originally posted this in the ca/sa cichlid forum but I will try here for better results. I have an electric blue acara breeding pair in a 45 gallon by themselves. They have bred once and used to eat like pigs. Since they have bred they have been eating picky I haven't seen them eat for almost a month until today I tried frozen bloodworms. I've already tried peas, but I have them to the fish raw instead of boiled. Is there a difference for the fish? Anyways both of them have sunken in bellys. I will include pictures but they are super fast and couldn't get my camera to focus well

Get them a bunch of aquatic insects and do frequent water changes. Stick your hand in the tank to make sure the heater is working.

They seem to help boost immune system, and are the number one food source for most cichlids in the wild:insects such as damselfly, mayfly larvae are easy to collect, however if u can't find any u can try crickets.

thats odd. normally need to be pretty happy to breed. Any change in tankmates? You can try a broad spectrum dewormer such as prazi also can consider metro for Spironucleus

They are now healthy i medicated the tank, they still won't breed though and the male bullies the female
