Feeding prawns or crab usually helps enhance the red colours. As far as I know.

Crazy cool fish though

I'm no expert but arapaima that live mostly off crabs have intense red colouration in their tails. And I have heard shrimp helps that too. It's a very cool fish.

Do you also happen to own a Sceleroplages Inscriptus, myanmar arowana? Incredibly cool fish IMO

Would be illegal for him to own as there classed as Asian Arowana and banned
