I agree. sometimes it is even more pronounced than on these pics. I am starting to think that they are something special by reading many of these comments :). This is a lovely forum by the way!
What kinda light do you use, cause i can see alittle green, my congi turn the same color as yours after switching to a 10k led full spectrum.

It is called Aquaray! These are several years old. Led lights have come a long way since then. I am not super happy with them.
It looks nice, cause when i had my regular light my congi was pale white, then i put this new light it gave the congi more color, but it change some of the endlies color too, which is im not happy.

Congi will change a bit with lighting. I've never tried red garnet and with subdue lighting. Which gives them more of a brown tone. Believe same fr black sand to congis.

Top pic brighter lighting similar to 10,000K. Which because of the brightness. The iron on my glass is apparent and reflecting green tones.

Bottom stock aqueon full spectrum T8. Which had a slight red tone to it. You can see an obvious difference.

I think mine has the same iron glass cover that reflect the green and make my polys turn hulk.

green tones look much better. ;)That's crazy that light changes them so much!
