Mote intriguing are the voltas. I def notice a difference in patters with them and the guinea types. I remember reading (may have been posted by you) about the vollta being 3 different rivers (white, balck and red i think) any difference between those 3 ? Also why dont we see white and red volta more abailble mostly black ? Or is black volta a generic name given to endli caught in that river system ?
Toyin labeled them as North & South Volta. As for the Red Volta. It's the smallest river in between the two that flows into the White river. It's probably labeled as white. Not sure.

I'll let the pics speak for themselves. Typically BV have a prominent square patterns. Both share the same narrow smaller headshape than other endlis.

Here's my 2 former white volta

Top two pics are gorgeous! The prominent white on the ventral side is breathtaking. Didn't even know white voltas were a thing!

This all started with Polyaddict86 Polyaddict86 , and his three endli pic. I didnt even get in on the derail, yet I saw my endli pics used a lot, lol.

I know there is the whole substrate thing but it seems (generalization) that the Dabola endli does tend toward the tan/brown tones. Since I dont have a Faranah I cant say for sure but seems more toward gray?

See it has to be the pics then bwcause dmds looks the most grey. I thought my faranah wasnt grey at all but more tan. Since changing the substrate its changed. Polyaddict changed his lights now thinks his dabola looks a different shade.

Im with sam on the base color thing....too many variables can change it. Pattern and headshape are more definites
