Yes but both share the niger...im not saying that i even believe my opinion 100% but we have no idea how these fish migrate, if they move with the food, if they travel north south east or west durin matting seasons. They just arent studied enough. If dabola endli and faranah endli mate.....way too many in tank variables and genetics too... not just with poly... go to petsmart look at the oscars none look the same.Yes, both locale are in Guinea. Differences between the two variant could be drastic or subtle. They're just catch locations. Provided a cross references below. Keep in mind, color tones can be darken/lighten due to substrate and lighting.
Dabola Endli is said to be from Tinkisso River. Judging by the map, this is a small river. It connects to the Niger River about 300+ kilometer north of the Faranah area. Therefore, cactch locale for Dabola "Tikinsso" may be of greater distance.
Faranah is an area. Accessible primarily only to the Niger River.

Find 2 viejas that look exactly the same and i'll eat my shoe lol. I feel like sometimes we see x charicteristic on our fish and bang label it on all of them. Kurts dabola is a great example...old light he felt it was more brown than his faranah....new light he feels its more gray, i felt my faranh had more bands and was tanner than my dabola, hao tinkisso bandings look like my faranah...dr.b felt his faranah was more brownish than his dabola. You have way more experience than me with poly's but ya gotta admit the variables and differences each of us describe have to make you think....wtf
Bingo...My old tinkisso has markings that look like jaws' faranah. haha. didn't notice that til now.
