What is the stock you have in your tank at the moment. Are you after south American or central American just wondering as you mentioned Trichromis salvini which are central American.

Hi
I don't mind American cichlids in general but I'm more swaying towards South American at the moment.

I have terrors and red tigers a few Geo's. I do have a cichlid that my local fish shop manager can't tell me what it is and I think he's quite respected and knows his stuff. Once I'm able I will upload a photo and see if anyone can tell me. I was told they was rare and from america.

It's not always that stressed bad choice of photo and thank you to the people who had the name also thanks for informing me of the region it's from.

I'm going to change my whole South American thing now as I've clearly been sent in the wrong way with the South American cichlids.

Rare American cichlids is what I'm after now after being put in my place

What size is your tank, are you after a pair or community or biotope themed tank

I have a 7 foot tank around 600/700 litre

I was actually only after the type of fish it was as no one down my local fish shop could tell me the name.
I did have a pair and gave one to my mate which I'm kicking myself over now as my Ines turned out really nice and big.
