I've seen pictures of this monster gatf and it's victims before. The size difference between the victims is considerable. And yes, this is probably the same type of sp of gatf that I have as well.. they grow very fast and gets more aggressive as they get larger and more mature. Mine takes chunks out of my BD stingray... which I thought the gatf would leave the bottom dweller alone. But I caught him in the act once as we the stingray climbs the wall and cruises around, it seemed to annoy the gatf and would do a pass by at him.. obviously he's not trying to eat the BD but just to show who's boss...

Regardless though, this guys setup is super boss. Makes me feel like mine is just a jail cell for the gatf... :(

What wows about the tank size is the depth to me. I had the dimensions of the tank but don't remember. Was something like 15x6x6.

Have you noticed any distinguishing features in your different gatf that would make you think you can tell which are the ones that grow fast?

I'll probably be able to catch a gargantuan VATF if I fly down to the east coast. That thing is an absolute monster though

I would love to do it for my 16th, but I don't think it would happen due to personal happenings.

I will certainly one day lol, apparently all the other species are banned

N nzafi I'm really not not sure what to look for in regards to these sp gatf but I'd say they are thicker and broader bodied rather than elongated and skinny starting at a rather small size 8-9". Other than that they are almost identical, maybe some differentiations of the snout.
