I get that you're newer to keeping fish but you have to do things the right way if you want your fish to thrive and be healthy. Use a short hose and a 5 gallon bucket if you have to to change the water if you don't have access to a gravel vac. A flowerhorn that small isn't going to mess your water up much if you miss some water changes but it's a good habit to get into. Try to do 20% atleast once a week while he is little. When he grows you will need to do more. We were all new to fish keeping at one point. Boards like these are where you learn how to properly care for them. I'm not talking down to you or anything like that. Fish keeping is a learning experience. Every day can bring something new.
