Sturgeon for pond

I wanted to get a sturgeon and wondered if I could keep him in a 125 for a few months than have him go in a 1000+ gallon pond tat I know a guy that would take him there are other catfish in there and koi so would like to know also which species get smaller than 7-8ft

The smallest sturgeon is a sterlet (Acipenser ruthenus), it rarely grows to 50 cm, but note that the optimum temperature for sturgeon is 14-18 degrees Celsius
