That makes me want an Ornate even more.
I love them. For me some fish arent worth dealing with the aggression but this guy definitly is. Some people have no issues at all but hes always been a p.i.t.a with smaller polys.

Like I said earlier, my smaller polys stay at the top of the tank on the brace, and the larger on the bottom.

Im not trying to deter you just giving you my experiences but when he has it in for someone hiding doesnt matter. Ive witnessed him seek out his target on several occasions just like a cichlid would do. But ya never know unless you try. Worth it imo

I'll likely get an ornate small because of price, so I shouldn't have to worry about that.

I noticed your ornate taking big gulps/breaths and he was the only one doing it. I have the same thing going on with my teug. Everyone else keeps their mouth shut but he's always taking huge breaths like your ornate. I wonder why that is.?

Woke up at 5 before everyone else. Did a fin level water change with the pumps running to drain the sump down to where the bio is sitting. Drained the sump again then cleaned off all the algae on the laundry bag. Something is up nitrates shouldnt have been that high going to do another fin level tomorrow morning.

This congi is probably mt favirote poly.
