I'm putting it on the 210 with a 75g sump. About 250g of water total. Skimmers that work with tanks that size tend to be $300+.

Ah ok nice! My set up is in infancy .. baby cichlids with low bioload .. low organics and running a wet light skimmate foam and dark collection bottle .. the real test will be once my fish get bigger and the bioload gets up to speed.. I'll do a few pics though

How big is the tank and sump?

I have a tad over 20 fish in my tank, although about half are rather small and contribute very little bioload.

Pretty small as just getting back into it .. 400ltr tank and approx 100ltr sump

It's a standard 75 which I converted into a sump.

J jaws7777 Good news! The foam actually came! It's coarse foam, but it's 1" thick, and I ordered 2 sheets, which should make 4 layers. Although the foam isn't fine, 4" of it should make up for it.

I ended up making 5 layers of foam for the filter, and still have leftovers for at least 2 more.
