Peacock Bass- tropical bass they need a lot of room. 300 gallons or so to really enjoy them
Anything bluegill related pumpkinseed/sunfish what ever will need cold periods- and a lot of aeration.
-also a lot of room. When you take something out of a body of water with 1000's of gallons and put it in a glass box -chances are it will hate life. Some people can get pond fish to survive in bigger indoor set ups but when there is fish available that are easy to take care of and thrive in smaller set ups- why get something that probably won't?

This statement, from an logical perspective, implies that a 500gal is not adequate for even a single neon tetra, and from an ethical perspective, implies that we shouldn't keep aquariums at all, since we can not provide enough natural size real estate.

PETA would agree with you ;)
