Hello, this is my first post, so sorry if it's a bit unorganized. This is my rhom. His name is Jack@ss. He is about 5 inches. He is currently in a 90 gallon, 48x18x24. There are anachris plants, dwarf hair grass, a water lily plant, duckweed, and dwarf water lettuce in the tank. His tank mates include mystery snails, ghost shrimp, and a crawfish. He is currently on a diet of frozen shrimp stuffed with hikari carnivore pellets. He is incredibly shy and stays in the corner of the tank for most of the day. Do you guys have any tips and tricks i can do to keep him happy and healthy? Advice is always welcome. Thank you. :)

Welcome to the forum. Nice Rhom. You're not just feeding him goldfish which puts you above most keepers IMO Eventually you might have to find him some larger real estate though- He really could possibly triple in size...

I like the name of your rhom. I have a 4"+ irritans named "Prince Charmless". His diet consists of tilapia filet, night crawlers/earthworms, and raw shrimp. Tank is heavily planted, which really helps control nitrates. There is also a UV sterilizer, which helps keep the water clear and control parasites and pathogens. Being shy is normal for piranhas. As that rhom gets bigger, it will likely become more aggressive. Nice fish.

If you want him to stay oblivious to tank mates/future victims get a bigger tank soon yes. I have no idea how you've managed to keep your ghost shrimp and crayfish alive in a 90 with a Rhom. Never seen that before. You must be a master chef with that pellet stuffed shrimp or something.
