What fish bits are you feeding? How old are the big spots? How stable is the dat and how does it change when stressed? I am curious if it just stays the same color cause that would be pretty sweet. I'm surprised the catfish isn't more voracious, is it a lince?
Watched a lot of your videos showcasing your stock (which are incredible specimens) but out of all the fish those xanthic gars really stand out.

They get fed cut shrimp, smelt, tilapia and dry pellets. The big spots are a bit over a year old and that snow dat will show dark spots/markings whenever a new fish is introduced. The marks usually go away after a few weeks. Catfish is actually an albino vulture cat... not too many albino vultures around.. I am hunting for another one.

The Vulture cats seem pretty well behaved around rays.. also with all other fish. At least that is what I have observed the past few years keeping them.
