Hey MonsterFishKeepers, I missed you! First, I have to state that I have always liked (well loved) you but I am not so sure you will say the same about me. But, hopefully your feelings will change towards me. All the long time members here will know exactly what I am talking about.
I feel as a matured person now, I OWE this to all of you. It's time to put any hard feelings or any bad reputations that I have on here or any other forums to rest.
First, I am Alex Cardinale, aka Yanker aka Cichla Dude or whatever hell usernames I had. I can't even remember what emails or passwords I used for those accounts. One thing I do know is I did a lot of stupid bullcrap back in those days. I lied very often got caught and tried so hard to defend myself, made a fool out of myself with out even realizing how bad I looked, and so much other stuff to list some I can't even remember.
I was about 15-16 years old at the time. It was a rough patch of my life as I had many personal problems going on and some family issues. So I guess coming online chatting about something I enjoyed was fun. I enjoyed fish keeping very much back then. But I don't understand or even know why I lied so much! I am not afraid to admit back in those years I was a pathological liar and I didn't even realize it. I lied so much that when asked for pictures I couldn't take any... wow.... (punches self in face)
At about 18 or 19 I got diagnosed with Bi-Polar. I discussed this with my therapist when i was 19 and he told me that at the time it was very likely that is when the bi-polar was coming out and lies are a big tell tale sign. But, thank god for my therapy. I have learned that my actions have caused reactions and they were well deserved at the time.
I thank the lord that my therapy has helped me mature and become a MAN. I no longer lie and no longer cause problems because of lies. Because of my therapist I am a much better person than ever before.
I would like to mend amends with some of the old MFK members because I really love this site and I don't want to be always remember as the guy who was an ass**** and a liar and a bad person. My actions back then were bad and I regret them each and every day.
As a 23 year old going on 24 year old fish keeper, I am really loving the aquarium hobby because I don't try to impress anyone, I don't have to lie or any of that stuff. I simply enjoy the fish that I love and I enjoy sharing the hobby with every other fish keeper.
I talk about tropical fish on my own podcast and look forward to maybe getting some MFK guests from time to time, that would be awesome!
So, I apologize for the past. Hope not one will hold any bad feelings or thoughts towards me.
Now, I am going to prove to MFK that I am indeed a good fish keeper, a real fish keeper and maybe just maybe one day I can be a Legend MFK fish keeper.
Love you guys...
It took me years to get the courage to write this but now or never.

Welcome back! You really have matured and quite sure everyone will let the past be the past. Most of us has done or said things when we were young that may have struck a nerve or two. Very courageous for you to come back to explain and apologize. New beginning my friend.☺

Thank you. Well, I am glad that I haven't turned too much older, but old enough to know better.... ;)
I am glad to see that at 15 Y/0 you are into fish keeping and are very smart!
Teenagers are the best years to start fish keeping, because that's when it gets stuck and hard to leave even if you do leave you always come back to it.
Fish keeping is the one positive of all the things you can say that about.
Because drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, gambling, etc are all started at teenage years and are hard to break. Many of my peers who I grew up with are now felons, drug addicts, in jail, or have 3 to 5 kids ALREADY! So I am happy that fish is my addiction.

Rather have 5 tanks like me instead of 5 kids :p
