Thank you Travis!! I would rather have her with the other guys, but I do believe it's not what she needs, but I don't know if I can afford a saltwater tank, its so freaking expensive its ridiculous, I can buy food for half a year with that money haha, maybe I should give her back :( .

My boyfriend thinks she might be starving because she doesn't seem to be eating anything, we gave her tiny bits of food but she won't eat.

Thank you Thomas, well at least all this years in school paid off :D

It would have been the best, :( sadly she didn't make it through the night.

Anyways thank you very much for the advice.

I was wondering if there are any other types of freshwater eel apart from the ones you mentioned before? Maybe one with a rounder face??

Thanks!

Very sorry to hear that.

As far as eels go, you could look into spiny eels. They are very personable. The size of your tank will help determine what species you should get.

If you're set on a freshwater moray, then you want to find a g. poly. They are the only true freshwater moray.

Thank you!!

Well I have another kind of eel in the other tank with tiny fish, but I don't really know the name, it's kinda silvery/ whitish and it's nose is like a bat nose, kinda pointy and upwards.

The G. Poly is it polyuranodon or polygonius?? Hope I wrote that correctly haha

Also, my Oscar is acting strange lately, he has been hiding near a rock and not swimming that much during the day, but once the lights go out he starts swimming a bit more but not that active, what's wrong??

1) Have you change anything in tank like decor, and lighting setup? If yes, then it will need sometime to adjust to new lighting and new setup.
2) Have you ever test your water parameter? This need to be done cause most fish acting weird when the water went off the chart.

I just realized after asking about it, that his fin and tail were a bit white and they looked weird him, so I found out it was fin rot, I bought melafix and already treated him.

Today he is acting super joyful and happy, I'm gonna keep the treatment for the seven days as recommended.

I didn't make any changes in the tank, the only change I made was like 4 days before and just put a bigger rock (I washed it thoroughly before putting it in) And I checked the parameters and everything was fine.

I read it could have been some other fish bit his tail and it kinda got infected, but now that I'm treating him he looks better.

Thanks!! I don't know if I can find it here, I think it's better not to buy any for now. But anyways thank you very much!!

By the way, my Oscar fish got better, but ended up being bullied by my other fish, I guess he was a bit too small for them, so I took him back and changed him for a bigger one, this one is getting along way better with the other guys.
