Hi guys! Would keeping individual leucosticta and jurupari work with other geophagus? So far, I already have orange heads and proximus in groups over 5 each. Do you think this will work? Will they not be lonely?

It depends on the aquarium size. They will do fine if you provide enough space for all of them.

Agreed, it will work fine as long as your tank is large enough to house them all.

Can't see it being an issue if you've got space, but if it's variety you're after why not trade in one of the groups of Geophagus and replace it with a group of either leucosticta or jurupari? They'll be ok on their own, but it's always nicer to see them being kept in a group IMO.

Thanks guys for the feedback. Sorry, I did not go into details. I'm still housing them in a 75gallon and I'm currently overstocked. My water change is like every 3 days. I will be moving them into a 360 gallon in a few days. Now, as for the jurupari and leucosticta which I do not have, yet. I will add these juvies which are about 1.5" each against geos which are all mostly above 5" already. This is where I see a problem. My plan is add a lot of driftwood as hiding places and tall river rocks to break sight in case of bullying. Here's me hoping they can get enough size on them before any of the fish starts to notice them.
