In a few days my new 5*2*2 aquarium will be finished and later needs to be setup.I thought of having an asian arowana untill fish reaches 1 and a half feet in length, 1 oscar, 6 clown loaches med sized, 1 black ghost knife fish which i already have(6-7 inches), along with 3-4 sea angels(mono)(these are true fresh and saltwater fishes).I know about compatibility issues with these fishes isnt the best but still not impossible,if problem arises i will rehome the fish into my other tanks. What i am rather concerned with is overstocking. can u guys suggest me about this issue and if u have other stocking ideas for fishes.(1 oscar,1 blackghost knife and 1 aro(grow out tank) will be in the tank for sure, for other fishes i am still deciding)
Can i stock these fishes in a 150 gallon aquarium?

I'd call it a day at just the oscar, knife, and aro(although really expensive for such a limited time) The aro isn't going to like tankmates in that small of a tank, and if you get a particularly obnoxious O it's not going to be pretty.
Alright i will skip on the monos and clown loaches. I will get juvenile oscar and arowana.The aro will grow out wayy sooner and hence i can rehome it before the tank gets too small for the fishes.i will stock it with more fishes after i rehome my aro.I just though since oscar and aro usually stays in the upper levels i could get away with clown loaches. But i wont take chances .
Give the aro a miss tho. Save gettin not until you got a huge tank running.
They ar
They are true fresh and salt water fish. They live their life in the sea and go up the rivers to lay eggs and the fry swims back into the ocean. So they are capable of living in the fresh water tanks.

The only issue is the oscar outgrowing the clowns and teying to eat them. O's grow fast and cls are on the slower side. Other members have had this happen only for the fish to die trying to swallow the clown. They have spines near theu're eyes i think called subocular spines or something.

y Oscar and baby clown fish. I will get a mid sized clown with baby Oscar. So by the time Oscar reaches full length the clown also would be big enough to not be eaten.Clowns are geeat fish man
