Thinking of getting smaller NLS pellets and stuffing them in filet or silversides.

Tried the pellets again tonight and he literally swims to the front of the glass and just looks at me like "you expect me to eat that?"

+1 often times for me when I have to do something such as starve a fish that may bother me, I occupy myself with other stuff and literally only take care of the tank, such as wc and feed, then when I finally pay some attention I usually see what I was looking for then I'm overjoyed lol

I think it's time for a different pellet. It's been 8 days. He knows what this pellet looks and smells like, and continues to spit it out. Tonight I even soaked them in garlic gaurd and nothing.

I was thinking NLS Thera A either 3mm or 6mm. If I go smaller I can always stuff inside silversides or filet pieces easily.

Got the big move tomorrow. Gave up on pellets temporarily but will try them again now with the move. He will be going into a 40g for 2-3 weeks and hopefully I'll get my drip system up at the same time as the tank.

He has started developing what looks like a blister on his lip. Looks like a small chimple but on the tip of his lower lip. Not sure how he got it but guessing from rubbing the glass. Will use some salt and stress gaurd during the move and hopefully it goes away.

I have decor in there. He comes out daily looking for food and swims right up against the glass. Think it's from that

Well began the move today. Put him in a 40g in the new home and will hopefully get the 180g up and running in a couple weeks. Took the following couple of pics. He is about 9-10in.

In the bucket pic you can see he goes across the entire bottom which is 10in.

In the tank pic the white block is 8x8in. You can see that his head extends about 1in past the block and his tail is curled but touches the end of the block. I purchased him at 4in around march 14th, so he has put on 5-6in in 5 month. I have slowed down feeding the last 2 months as he was in a hospital tank and then I was trying to pellet train.
