No, you are not understanding correctly. I only said I rather see the team not on the field than see them dishonor the military servicemen. If I were an owner, I would suspend without pay anyone doing it. You are on the job, protest on your own time.

Doesn't help that the broadcasts focus on the ones doing it either.

I loved that article where Ray Lewis said the Ravens were all set to bring in Kap to interview, but Kap's gf tweeted a pic of Ray Lewis and the Ravens owner hugging and added all sorts of racial insults to it. Which of course nixed them bringing in Kap. I notice that article didn't get any play on the national media outlets.
