Another thing that doesnt get much play is who raised kap.... not his mither or father. His white grandparents
Not grandparents. Just a random couple that was trying to do good things and adopted him. His sperm father bolted before he was born and left his mom to cope.

That gets no play because it doesn't fit the narrative: father African, bolted; mother white left to fend; adopted parents both white offered goodness. That's not the story some people want to hear.

Adopted parents forrgot or were unable to instill humility and thankfulness I think.

Hello; I watched the first episode of "The Brave" tonight. Slick enough production with a cast of decent but somewhat predictable characters. Lots of action. Success in the face of seemingly impossible odds.
I will probably enjoy the show as a Monday night alternative for a time. How long will depend on the formula of the action and if it becomes predictable. Not so entertaining when you can guess the outcome of a new episode based on past episodes.

Anyway did not watch the game tonight. Now comes the test of the replays on the NFL network tomorrow. Glad I did not get NFL Sunday Ticket. I wonder if folks who have Sunday ticket can cancel it now and avoid the charges?

Heard a disturbing bit of news. The Steelers #78 who seemed to be yesterday's bright spot has apparently claimed he walked out for the anthem by accident. He did stand and have his hand over his heart which is the important part tho. I still like the picture of him standing proud for the anthem.

Yeah, the story about #78 makes me sick. Guy can't think for himself.

is it weird that i think some of you guys are more bent out of shape about the kneeling for the anthem than the nazi morons in Virginia? Defend the nazi's right to free speech but these football players doing what they're doing makes you guys rage?

actually, i guess I'm not surprised... lol

anyways, I'm happy the players took a stand... figuratively. CK is an SOB but those nazi clowns were "very fine people"? Its a shame more people don't swallow their pride and stand up for what is right.

Well the Nazis went about their protests the right way, on their own time, permits, not trying to use their cheap celebrity to encourage anyone. Those losers of the NFL, are on the clock. Stfu, and play ball that's all. Protest on you OWN time. This IS standing up for what's right.

I'm not sure what you meant by "I guess I'm not surprised lol" but those people down in Virginia were not protesting or making a stand on someone else's paying time....were peacefully doing their thing until other groups arrived to confront them....and they damned sure were not disrespecting the flag and anthem of their country, unlike the overpaid NFL hypocrites. It's like I already said a while back,if those people want to protest over something they should do it on their own time and on their own dime.People spend their hard earned money to sit and watch a football game not see a bunch of rich crybababies force their political views on them.

I'm willing to bet a container of fish food that he was probably threatened by one or some of his teammates.

I definitely think something happened between he and the team. What a jellyfish to actually be pictured showing the proper respect, go back and say it wasn't right, and then worry about throwing your teammates under the bus!!!! You know, his jersey sales spiked after the public thought he was decent. I hope they all go get refunds!

Damned right it did, after all we are talking about the national felon league,an organization that has a murderer in it's hall of fame yet chastises a player for taking a knee and praying.
