Yea true that, I tend to get carried away when it comes to talkin music haha. Lamb of god are pretty damn awesome tho \m/ just sayin lol. Anyways back on topic.I have a very wide variety of music that I listen to. I listen to everything from Dolly Parton to Lamb of God.
Although here probably isn't the place to discuss musical interests, I'm pretty sure thats what the lounge is for lol

Well, it finally happened. I'm pretty sure it was only yesterday I was telling someone how well it was working out..
I got out of the shower this evening just in time to see River grab the littlest widow, she grabbed it and shook it like a dog does a toy and by the time I had the net and a chair (I can't do anything with this tank without a chair, the top of the tank is above my eyes) the poor widow was dead
so I quickly scooped the remaining six out and put them back in the 5' with the dollars. I can't get Sir Elton out though, I'm hoping that him staying on the bottom and not being in the upper parts of the tank will persuade River to leave him be
Anyways... River is doing really well, growing nicely and getting more and more beautiful every day. Her fins are getting awesome trailers! They're comparable to Horraces which I think is impressive, I'm not sure how common it is for female GT's to have long trailers on their fins but hers are bloody beautiful!
I guestimate she'd be a little under 5", she hasn't put on much body length, just getting thicker and taller. Still doesn't have the tall body I was hoping for though...
She's hard to photograph because she's so sociable and tries talking to me when I'm trying to take pics of her, but I got a good one before my shower that I thought I'd share.
My photography skills aren't the best and I only have my crappy phone camera but here's a pic of her from earlier tonight (yes she's pooping, but the pic is clear so it'll do):

I love her, my mates think I'm stupid for talking to my fish but she's so pretty and personable that I can't help but to stop and chat every time I walk past the tank

About the only thing that's changed is the amount of substrate in the tank. My ex cracked the dummy with Sir Elton's poop and removed most of the sand/pebbles to make it easier to clean leaving only a thin layer along the bottom, and of course River has moved almost all of it to one awkward patch in the middle of the tank

I also managed to get a pic of Sir Elton the other day which I figured I'd share here, his belly has the coolest patterns!
And I would of gotten a second decent pic of him closer to the front of the tank earlier but instead I got this, guess where the pleco was sitting?
