lol it's the same way with my royals I would go months without seeing them I just added more driftwood and adjusted the driftwood already there so I can see them, my sultan, and my BGK more. By the way what's a gn? When I got my L425 in as unidentified I put it in my bichir growout tank figuring it gets every food I feed well I had to move it because wouldn't you know it's a wood eater and that is the only tank without wood lol

Lol doesn't it always happen that way ...i have a sultan too I've read they are hard to take of but he's been nothing but easy ...gn is a golden nugget pleco I have 3 of them and like you said I sometimes don't see them for months ...my golden vampire pleco is great and atleast he hides in a clay pot that is right in the front of the tank...and my sunshine and zebra plecos are older and aren't scared either ...my clown pleco and gns and some of my mystery plecos are all big on hiding ...i have alot of small prices of drift wood but I have about 500 to 600 pounds of live rock and it makes it almost impossible to find out weather your plecos are okay or not

lol I'm jealous of the golden vamp. I've been thinking and thinking on how to rescape to give my plecos and bichirs plenty of hiding places where they will still be visible. A couple days ago I rescaped half of my tank with several large pieces of driftwood and java moss and it has worked out great. I now see my sultan, royals, BGK and most of my bichirs(except moke) all the time. Hell even my eels love it

My golden vampire is always out and about. My two sultans and three beacon hide more since I added a bunch of geos to their tank temporarily, but before that, they were always out.

My sunshine is hilarious. When she is hungry he swims up to the front of the tank and starts bouncing on his pectoral fins. When I am doing water changes, she will also let me touch her and not freak out.
