Unfortunately he’s eaten all the eggs!
I’m more concerned that he jumped out of the tank when we went to open his mouth to see if all had gone as we was going to incubate if there was any left (we see that his jaw was noticeably smaller hence why we intervened as we was just going to leave him to it)
He’s swimming around opening and closing his mouth, not fully, more like a shallow gasp. I’ve read this is due to stress which is understandable as he hit the floor. I just hope he’ll b ok.

Sorry to hear that but if the Aro is swimming normal I think it will fully recover.

Sad turn of events, did you already know that they were a male and female pair?

Gone to check on him and so far so good, he’s fine not gasping anymore and swimming around quite happily. But I’ve heard horror stories of the dying in 24hrs...2weeks etc so know we not out of the woods yet...
