A few months ago I put my jaguar Cichlid in my fish pond/pool with my giant snakehead with whom he’s had a history of fighting and biting. At first, all was well and they got along well, but a few days ago I noticed my jag hiding in the skimmers and not coming out to eat. After I finally got him to leave the skimmers so I can check on him, I watched as the snakehead followed him relentlessly. He was literally on his tail and looked like he was about to take a good sized chomp out of my oldest fish, so I dropped the food I was holding and barely made it in time to scare the snakehead away with the net. After this incident, I immediately took my jaguar cichlid out of the pool and made some space for him in the other aquariums around the house. The aquarium he’s in rn is too crowded and I’ll get him a new, bigger one soon as i can. But i was wondering how many gallons of water he’ll need.
