Hey guys I just got a Wallago Catfish

Would like some info on these guys please? (don’t trust google)

I have tried to feed him cut up prawn and pellets but he won’t eat? Why?

And the growth rate of these guys?

He doesn’t even swim much and just lays in a corner

Don't think I've read of an average growth rate yet. And it's a catfish. Can't get it assuming much activity if your being general. And why not trust google? It will lead you here. Among other trustful sites. You can try the search function here as well. Shouldn't of made the purchase not knowing about the fish. If it's leeri, which it looks to be so to my untrained eye, it can reach 5'+. Likely won't eat because he's still settling in.

Not a wallago it' a ompok siluroides I have both a ompok and a wallago. A wallago's head is flatter and less round. Ompok don't get big maybe 10". They don't do much exept hover or lay on the bottom

when did you get him?

sometimes they take a few days to feel ready to eat...little guy looks kinda rough too

according to planet catfish ompok get 18" but it does look like one
