Any suggestions?
ATF school but i am currently trying this and have spoke to many people to mixed reviews some success some not.
Outside if that I would need to checks Wes's list and see if something grabs my eye that I could see you enjoy.
Any suggestions?
Very nice pics! Man I miss those big old boulion beefcakes pacing the tank. You really caught those teeth! Some real beauties you have there!
Ever kept wolves?
Are wolves bright and colorful?. Can you keep a bunch of them in a 225G? Do they shoal and active swimmers? Or are they just a loner turd sitting in a tank?Yea Ken, ever?
Well, that will depend on the specimen can have colorful sheens, can surely be active, not necessarily shoal though unless you get golds they may loosely shoal. I'd say you can keep a few wolves in a 225. If it were me I'd try a curu, mala, ery ery, ery sp Peru, and a gold. I don't like more than one of a species personally lol.Are wolves bright and colorful?. Can you keep a bunch of them in a 225G? Do they shoal and active swimmers? Sorry. I can't get myself excited in keeping them. You got that right..... Might want to someone about your issue. Maybe talk to Wes. Have him write you a prescription for some green eyed Lacs or some Panaran Lacs. Even a group of Aimara would be crazy sweet feeding fiasco.Sorry. I can't get myself excited in keeping them. It's just me.
I like odoe too, I'd get one if i could find one large enough for a reasonable price, gold wolf would probably eat a smaller one. Don't have a smaller tank to grow fish out in anymore, but my girl had grew fast, 4 inches in the first 2 months but on live goldfish i would beef up in a 10 gallon. I had mine for 3 years+ and can't think of a bad experience with her, she hit food hard especially when young, easy to get on other foods, wasn't a trouble maker but definitely has a capacity to her patience, not to big not to small, got nice color sheens and fins definitely got nice once she hit 10 inches.I'd tell you to try Odoe but I seem to be on my own with thinking these are a necessary fish for any and all monster keepers........ These are like Dorado to me in the sense that over the last 10 years there's been very few times there's not some in the house somewhere..... Will always have Odoe, Dorado, and Wolves as long as I have tanks going.....

But honestly if you got bored of Dorado there probably isn't a fresh water cure......

something manageable with teeth, will stick together, definitely always out, can become a beggar for food.
