As the title says, I'm considering purchasing a 5 gallon saltwater tank by Fluval. It will be my first saltwater tank EVER, so I'm hoping I can get some support as I go about this process! I know that gallons of saltwater can be purchased to fill the tank, so I've got that down. However, I have a couple important questions: 1) what mini monster fish can I purchase that will thrive in the tank, and 2) what should I decorate the tank with so it will a) suit the fish, and b) optimize the tank's appearance? Thank you guys in advance! Attached is the photo of the tank:

I have a biocube 29 that i bought a month ago that has been established for 3 years it is a hard core sps and lps reef tank the only fish I have rn is a long nose hawkfish and thats a cool fish but gets too big for your tank. premade water is bad Id stay away from nutria seawater as it has a high salinity people have crashed there tanks because of it. honestly its too small do much you could do a clown goby and maybe a clownfish and thats your limit. Also if you want to do coral your going to need a wave maker powerhead, most people do live rock as decoration as its nature its also your biological filtration. Id look at a biocube if I was you now that said I went top of the line on mine being modded I dropped 300 on the tank and I spend easy 1k on upgrades.

Shrimp, crabs, and a smaller fish like a firefish or goby. I think the clown would eventually be too big for a five gallon.

5 gallons is a bit small, it will make it hard to keep. You could do coral, or inverts. As far as fish you are very limited if any. Most are a 10 gallon minimum.

5 gallon is going to be too small for any mini monsters. Maybe you could keep a neon goby or something similarly tiny. But I would just go for coral and inverts in that size tank.
Honestly, a 5 gallon is going to be very hard to keep. Most reef keepers recommend you start with something in the 55 gallon range, since saltwater is much more difficult to keep the parameters you want, and in a 5 gallon tank, theres not much water to dilute if you make mistakes. And if you do make a mistake, everything you kill will be much more expensive.
I'd go with at least a 20-30 gallon for first saltwater/reef tank tbh

this is for saltwater read the post.
Guppies are fine in saltwater, as are mollies and some swordtails, but they are too big. Guppies are also much tougher than most other saltwater fish.
