I just wanted to read about them bc I’m a fish nerd and like reading things about interesting fish
These fish are beautiful...I’m def not “planning” to get anymore fish...yet!These Vieja are great to keep if you have an appropriate size tank. To me, anything under 100 gallons is too small, for a pair alone.
Their coloration tends to intensify with age.
When young they look like this.
They also have beautiful similar colored cousins like V bifasciata
and V breidhori
all needing spacious accommodations.
