Hello everyone! I just moved my 9 inch silver arowana from my 125g to my 210g (not its final tank) which has a circulation pump at the surface for better oxygen exchange. The flow pushes the arowana around a lot but when I turn off the pump, the arowana and other fish start breathing hard being that the temp of the tank is at 82°F from outdoor heat. The aro struggles to swim in the current, even though there are areas in the tank with weaker flow. Is this bad for the aro? I know when it gets bigger it should be able to handle it better, but should I leave it off while its still young or will this help it to become a better swimmer?
