My 4 inch green sunfish decided to jump ship a few days ago, I came into the room, and he was stuck to the carpet. I revived him to the best of my ability, but he's been losing strength, and now he's laying on his side, and his gills have slowed down immensely, he hasn't eaten in 4 days, and I don't think he's going to make it. Should I euthanize him? If so, how should I do it? Thanks everyone.

If you really think he is suffering then do it.
Some people use clove oil.
Personally I've bagged em and let go to sleep in the freezer for a few hours.

I ended up using a filet knife to sever the spinal cord, it was the quickest death I could find. I was shaking so bad when I did it, I've had him for 3 years.
