75 Gallon tank is not going to be anywhere near big enough. These fish live for well over 20 years and get 3-4' long, and very thick.
Like I said, we know the dimensions of his tank but we don't exactly know the gallon amount. We can always upgrade if we need to. I said AT LEAST 75 gallons. Sorry if I come off rude, that is never my intention.

no worries, so a 50x20x20 is a 90 gallon, still not going to be big enough. Just letting you know, this fish will outgrow a 90 gallon tank, and live for a very long time. So unless you plan on building a much bigger tank and keeping him for a large part of your life, your going to have to find somewhere to donate a gigantic lungfish. Not the easiest task. Not trying to rain on your parade or be rude either, just letting you know what you're getting yourself into.

Good news though! I might be able to build him a 100 to 120 gallon if I move some stuff off my dresser. But I see why you think the fish should have more room. Even lungfish need a stroll every once and a while!

Yes indeed they will need room, for a south American lungfish you will need more like a 180-250 gallon once it is an adult. Again, just hoping to inform you, before you buy the fish and end up not being able to give it a large enough tank. Because there are plenty of nice fish which won't get as large, and will even let you pet them if you want.

This is a good read: https://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/...-the-right-aquarium-for-your-lungfish.416271/

I appreciate you looking out for a new lungfish owner. I will certainly give it a read. Like I said, I can certainly accommodate to whatever my fish needs.

Why did I say certainly so many times?
Happens lol.
Many lungfish tolerate petting and I recommend this because it allows you to not get bitten when they are older (there said to have a bite like a turtle), when he outgrows his tank you can either get him a snap frame pool or make him a diy pond indoors
