Pops have you heard about that carjacking attempt in a Wallmart parking lot.....was that near you?

yup, it was relatively speaking, south west of Tacoma, maybe hour and half from me depending on traffic.

not the first guy to get shot in western WA by a citizen with a gun protecting/defending this year.

when it comes to owning a gun in WA it is very easy as far as hoops, we are a shall issue state for a licence. pay for the background check, thats clear, they have to issue, no other requirements.

with out a CPL every time you buy a gun, you have a 2 week background check, get your CPL and no waiting period, renew is every 4 years.

its kinda funny, I have to hold a class 2A gaming licence in my job at the casino, back ground and credit check once a year. and after 10 years there I can tell they do not miss a thing. Greg? you got stopped for an out tail light, why was that not on your renewal application. lol.

difference between federal and state criminal check. IMHO any back ground check should be both state and federal, I see no problem with that.
