Awesome. Thank you

So a final stock for a 75 of
2 Senegal
1 del
1 polli
3 ropes
1 lsn or Raphael
1 ctenopoma

I should be able to stick to a once a week 50% water change with feedings 3 or times a week?

It's gonna be tough to say what wc schedule you would need. Things change soo often. Best way is to test and find a schedule your comfortable with

i recall a wise fellow on this forum once saying that even when active, raphaels and uranoscupuses are 'expensive pieces of driftwood decor' in the tank. personally, i think they look awesome. so if you wanna house these cats, make sure you're going for a bare tank with only gravel. i mean.. look at the shape of this cat!

That is a beauty. But i do have a few caves and holes for the bichirs to take shelter in. I guess I could rearrange that so that i have a clear vision into those if I decided on raphaels. But if i can find a lsn i may go that direction. Just not seeing much out there right now. Someone locally was selling a couple of them recently but he had one that was 16 inches and one that was 6. so I'm inclined to believe he may have a true shovelnose

The more i research I think a lima regardless of elongatus or true lima may be pushing it in a 75. Perhaps one day in my 135 if I get tired of my hoplo cats. I believe either a raphael cat or my pair of hoplo cats would make a better addition

Now the ultimate question....pay shipping or don't pay shipping lol

haha i know. trinsfish has some right now and they only charge 15 bucks for shipping and I've never had a DOA from them. But i'd rather wait until i need more than one fish to pay that

but now i'm thinking if i only put 1 hoplo in the 75 and leave the other in the 135...they stay small enough that I may still be able to squeeze an additional bichir in....hmmm

Hoplos are social cats, get a group amd throw a party!

i've got two now...they aren't social...in fact they don't like each other at all. they spend most of their time in different caves away from each other. Though a few of the albino type have been popping up recently. Been considering getting a few more of them
