oscar with goldfish???

i think i've decided no oscars. Im going to have enough work with the 150 as it is. Thanks to all of you for helping me! :)
Not sure where your from, but have you considered some north american native fish in with you goldfish and turtles? Maybe a couple sun fish and a bullhead? Then atleast water temps would be correct for all of your inhabitants at once. And beeing a cool water tank, the extra stock wont make as large an impact on water quality either.

yeah i was thinking sunfish, but i have no idea where to get them. any recommended dealers in ohio? also, would the pleco be okay in a cold water tank?

if its legal in your area, go catch some on a barbless hook. Im really not sure on the pleco. I have kept them out in ponds up here in newengland over the summers for years, so i bet they would be fine in an unheated tank.

yep i researched a bit more and found a hatchery near me where i can get some! the bluegill will do fine in 70 degrees F, i assume?

Most deff. They are native here where im from also. And half the year it is below freezing, and people ice fish for them
