Not sure where your from, but have you considered some north american native fish in with you goldfish and turtles? Maybe a couple sun fish and a bullhead? Then atleast water temps would be correct for all of your inhabitants at once. And beeing a cool water tank, the extra stock wont make as large an impact on water quality either.i think i've decided no oscars. Im going to have enough work with the 150 as it is. Thanks to all of you for helping me!
yeah i was thinking sunfish, but i have no idea where to get them. any recommended dealers in ohio? also, would the pleco be okay in a cold water tank?

if its legal in your area, go catch some on a barbless hook. Im really not sure on the pleco. I have kept them out in ponds up here in newengland over the summers for years, so i bet they would be fine in an unheated tank.
Most deff. They are native here where im from also. And half the year it is below freezing, and people ice fish for them
