Central American catfish

I don't think I have ever encountered any CA catfish in my trade endeavors but Rhamdia quelen, which as Stanzz stated grows too big for your qualifications and also is a boisterous and smart weasel of a tank mate IME. I'd not trust it with any small fish that can fit in its mouth.

Oddly oven had one and I’m based in the uk. It actually “removed” the back end off a large black ghost knife (16”) which killed it. A mouth like a vulture catfish I believe. Clean cuts. I Wouldn’t recommend it. Very aggressive. Fish was around 13/14”. I wouldn’t own one again and I wouldn’t trust it with other fish unless they are very large.
