My male pearl hasn’t eaten yet for me

It’s been a week for me and me ate very little I don’t know why he’s refused the food I tried shrimp tilapia and hakiri pellets he’s pretty thin and it’s starting to worry me he also just not moving around a lot like my female. The water is perfect no ammonia no nitrate no nitrate ph 6-7 let me know what I should do and watch for thanks!

The tank is a 65 I can move fish around I do have a 410. The female is 1 inch bigger at 6 inches he’s been in there for a week and a half, he is captivated breed from Thailand and was through quarantine same with female for every thing

Have you tried to feed worms to him? My hybrid female was not eating well until i fattened her up with worms. You can also try to feed him with tongs to put the food under his disk.

Sorry he just pasted away I went to just go and check up on him and he passed away overnight

Im sorry for your loss. Its never fun to loose rays. I lost one female and one male leopoldi/motoro pups in two or three months this summer due to the heatwave that was here in sweden.

That sucks I lossed 4 rays to a long period power outage as well so I know how it feels I just have to focus on my female and make sure she’s good

Yeah focus on her until she can move to a bigger tank then maybe get another male for her.
