heya, I have a semi-aggressive tank that's heavily planted, has a decent current running through it. I've had to remove a few hideouts, much to my rainbow shark's dismay, but overall the plants themselves provide cover for the fish.

I have a rainbow shark, pictus catfish, 5 barbs, 1 cichlid that i cant remember the exact name of, 1 angelfish, and a king betta

oh, and an extremely aggressive danio that i was forced to remove from my peaceful community tank. she was terrorizing everything in her path

would a bristlenose pleco work well in a semi-aggressive tank? and would the pleco and pictus get along alright? i just dont want to put any fish at risk.

That’s sounds good except the Cichlid. It could be a krib or it could be a dovii for all I know, get an id on it.

I did a quick search and it's an Electric Blue Acara Cichlid

I’m not familiar with that cichlid but besides him the rest of the fish will do fine with a bristlenose pleco. I’ve had a bristlenose pleco with every fish you listed except the acara and tiger barns which I’m assuming are the barbs you have.

yeah I've got tiger barbs. the acara is on the smaller side of cichlids, and he's still very young right now

Yes a Bristlenose should work. Please make sure its a Bristlenose not a Common Pleco.:)
lmao yeah i was actually worried about that. i'll make extra sure that i dont grab a common pleco on accident. i can be a little ditsy at times if im in a hurry.

Yes, be sure it’s not a common or you’ll end up with this in just over a year. Lol81D1DAA4-528E-4CBB-A1E3-A31E38AB87B7.jpeg
