Where are you located? And what a cool name! Maybe you can have your fish store order some? All my local lfs has are senegals I had to drive an hour for Gucci (my delhezi)
Thanks so much! Really interesting behavior from these guys. I have been feeding twice a day this week. Yeah, the PBB is an aggressive eater, really goes for food dropped into tank pretty quickly.PBB probably just trying to fit into the pecking order and another poly was putting it in place. In my tank the endli is the one who is the biter and will bite side fins like that and tails. Just keep the water clean and it heals up pretty quickly. I usually bump up feeding when I add new fish. Seems like when the fish are full they are a bit lazier and dont fight as much. The pbb looks like it has been eating, belly seems full looking with food bulges.

What about changing up the scape when adding someone new? Does that have any relevance with multiple polys? I know sometimes when adding new cichlids that is a good idea to switch up hiding spots so there isn’t any particular territory recognized. I had to do this a few times to keep my syno and parrot from fighting over a spot.PBB probably just trying to fit into the pecking order and another poly was putting it in place. Yes that is actually a good idea! Ive been slightly changing the scape with almost every water change to keep territorial behavior in check.
