I dont know about which area's royals are the most vibrant but this one is definitely one of those special ones mate. Mine came extremely gold but over time, his colours became darker which i clarified on the forums and somebody mentioned they get darker when they are not stressed. You can see it in the 2 pictures here.

Your panaque is beautiful! It changes from time to time, mine is gold when it’s out for food and dark when it’s hidden in the driftwood. Guess it’s something about the mood..

Nice Royal, the first two Pics definitely went thru some kind of Photoshop, never seen them that vibrant. They are nice no doubt about it, I would buy a dozen if i could.
