Papyrocranus Congoensis???

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Hello kno4te kno4te , sorry I have not updated In a while, been a little busy. My knife is doing great! It's eating like a champ and has even slightly grown a bit. I'm sorry yours didn't do so well, if it helps any I've been feeding mine swai fillets and market shrimp. The PH is actually quite high at 8.2
Glad to hear.

20181202_133512.jpgPlease excuse the picture quality, he is very active and hard to capture.

I am currently housing it in a 55 gallon aquarium, tankmates include: young bichirs, synodontis nigriventris, congo tetras, alestes tetra, and syndontis alberti. (This is just a growout.) He will be moved to a 180 gallon when he is larger.

I acclimated it by simply placing the bag in the aquarium then waiting 30 minutes, after that I simply opened the bag over a bucket and netted it into the tank.

It is showing no aggression towards any of its current tankmates and is actually very active in the day and night.

If anyone has any questions feel free to ask.

K krichardson , how's your knife?

Maybe gotta try again. Great stuff A AquaSeth15 !

Looks pretty cool! I feel your pain on the fast moving! I have to use some fancy photography to catch my knives in action.

Yes, they prove to be quite difficult to capture some decent photos of. Maybe I should get a better camera.

What do you use?

I have to utilize speedlights in order to get a shutter speed fast enough to get my knives:
