Unless your flowerhorn is a short body, your tank is going to be too small for long term.

Thanks for posting pics of the tank!!

I would probably take the African cichlids back to the store if you can since it appears you will be using the 260 litre tank for your new FH.

Hey,
No worries,. Yeah, still deciding what to do with him. He's a real character.

How would he fair in a 10 gallin by him self I wonder? To small?

I also have a mate with a spare 30 gallon who said he might take him, and try to breed him. God love the females he puts in with him.

A 10G seems a bit small for an adult though you could always try it.

Yeah, .Think I'm Gona give him up...

My mate getting too excited at starting a tank again...

He will live like a king in a tank with only himself and his ladies.. if he doesn't kill them all first.

You'll want a tank big enough to house him with at least 6 females. More rockwork would help too, you'll want spots fish can duck into if being chased.

Hey,

Yeah I had lots off rock work. I removed them all yesterday and just left 3, as I'm getting a wee 2" Flowerhorn tomorrow.

I'm rehoming this boy in the morning..

Would love to keep him. He be some boy when he maxs out, .he only around 2"inches so far. The last man standing out of over 30 cichlids. And he was one of the small 1s... Had some well over 3".

As they say,. It's not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size on fight in the dog.. ha...
