IMG_2739.JPG Today I noticed that there was something wrong with my Green Terror and I noticed that half of his bottom lip was not attached and wiggling around. Its with one other fish but It's divided so i don't think it can be from Lip locking. If someone can tell me what I should do I would appreciate it!
Sorry for the bad quality picture

Hard to tell even from the pics. Not sure if lymphocystis or anything more. Would add a little salt a 1 tsp per gallon. Keep the water clean (ammonia 0, nitrites 0 and nitrates less than 20ppm). Post and update as possible.

The left side of his bottom lip is not attached to the rest of the Lip anymore. I know it's hard to tell from the picture.

I’d do what kno4te kno4te suggested and also move that other fish out. My best guess is he is ramming the divider and hurting himself trying to get at the other fish. Salt alone will not help if he’s going to continue hurting himself.

Sadly I have no where to put the other fish but if I make him less visible do you think it would help? Also is it possible for the Lip to go back into place or will it eventually fall off from repeatedly ramming the divider?

It would be worth a try. If you can’t physically remove it then making it so they can’t see each other would be th next best thing.

Can I ask what kinda fish is it?

Well kno4te kno4te said it should.

Time will tell if it will grow back or not. Just keep the water as clean as you can while you wait.
