Hey Polyaddict86, since you obviously have Polys of various sizes, do you think that mixing different species and sizes is safe? I´ve got a P. ornatipinnis (approx. 8``) and a baby senegalus of about 4`` and I´m thinking of starting the new year by buying a third member to the gang. I know a company selling palmas measuring around 7-8``, so would those three be okay as a mix?

I dont really recommend mixing them if the size difference is huge, i have my 7” endli with my 16” endli together cause i know that once i get the small endli to eat it will grow fast, the big endli will slow down on growing.
As for the ornate and sen, the sen hit hit a point about 7”-9” and it will stop growing, that will be its max size. It might grow to 10” but it will take a long time vs a ornate that will grow to 16”+.
Another thing in my tank too is that i have 13 other polys that are around 12”-15” almost the same size of the big endli and i always keep them well feed but there is always a chance that the smaller endli will get eaten.
The palmas should be fine, just make sure its a palmas cause i think its a nigerian lap, they usually missed label a nigerian lap.
