Couldn't agree more. I used play sand for years but have recently been starting to switch over all my tanks to PFS. Been replacing impellers on fx5's on a yearly bases in my tanks with playsand, at $50 a pop it's gettin' old real fast.You can get pool filter sand its easy to clean and heavier than the play sand sold at lowes or home depot. I would stay away from that stuff
+1PFS is usually cleaner than a lot of sands out there it seems, but I always just give it a quick wash first in a bucket.
