Good to know I'm not alone in this. I couldn't imagine how much older I'd feel if I had kids of my own...
May I ask how old your little guy is? From the way you talk about him I'd guess he's 3-4ish?
Wow 8 siblings?! That's mad.. I'm the eldest of 6 (dad has me and three to another woman, mum has me and two to other men) and that's hectic enough.. I couldn't imagine having another two siblings to argue with...
None of my siblings have kids yet (thank heavens!) but my eldest younger brother is almost 20 and my eldest younger sister just turned 18 so I'm expecting a call at some point from one of them saying "hey Ebbi, you're gonna be an auntie!"
I dread that day haha

Ahh yes. The full of energy is what made me think 3-4..
18 months to 30ish months is a great age, they do the funniest things around then..
We all have the same mother. But there are three dads. The two oldest share a dad and were raised with him. The next oldest has her own dad but he was never in the picture so she was raised with us. For the longest time I didn’t even know she had a different dad. Then the rest of us all have the same dad.

Hes on a whole different level of energy. Hes broken more stuff than both of my two kids combined. My wife says if he was our 1st born she would never have had anymore lolAhh yes. The full of energy is what made me think 3-4..

I started early. By the time I was 25 I already had both my kids and got my tubes tied that year. Lol
My mum says that about my youngest brother haha
He's always in trouble at school, is an absolute c*nt at home... He keeps her on her toes still and he's 12..
Ive been pregnant twice as a teen. Got to 28 weeks first time then I had some chick in school start on me and punched me repeatedly in the stomach - gosh it hurt. Obviously I had a miscarriage because of that.
Then a year or so later when I got with my ex I fell pregnant again and miscarried at around 14 weeks, I was very malnourished at the time and my body couldn't support a baby.
It was upsetting at the time but a blessing in disguise. I was just homeless for 6 months and if those babies had of been born I would of been homeless with a 10 and an 11 year old - which would not have been good at all.
After my second miscarriage I decided that I wasn't having kids (strict contraception) until I had a mortgage, my license and a reliable car, a good job and weighed more than 50kgs.
Now I've decided that when I do want kids I'll adopt. No point bringing another child into the world when there are lots of kids that don't have a loving home. I can provide one so that's what I'll do.
