Yea I’ve also heard about that might happen down the road but my I’ll show some pics right now I really love these fish the sen I’ve had for about 4years now n the ornate about 6months

55 not big enough for ornate.
Ive never heard of them crossing but dont see why they can't.
It takes years for them to be ready to breed.
Good possibility your ornate may kill the sen at some point.

Is it? I was under the impression of it being a Senegal like the basic dinosaur eel they sell at the local pet store (where I picked it up from) as well as the darker one I bout it at a pet store and they labels him as an ornate
