My House!
I don't know either...same, after my time.
That's no excuse! My mum is almost 45 and my dad turns 50 next year. They both know what pikachu is (my mum is pokémon obsessed!) even my grandfather knows what pikachu is :p

Lol I wasn't sure it was Pokémon. Pokémon makes me think of pogs. I remember thinking wtf? Looking back, I guess they weren't much different than my Garbage Pail Kids.

I swear I am getting so sick of comcast. Had three things I Tivo'd to watch tonight, got 20 mins into one and then got that damn "unplug your STB to reset the signal" message. Did that probably 10 times over the course of an hour, lost internet and phone, then internet came back. Then finally after an hour 1hr & half the STB finally reset. So then had to go around the house resetting all 5 STB's.

I HATE comcast ...now, back to watching my Tivo'd show I was so rudely interrupted from ;)

Yeah, its one of the main characters in the show. I loved pokémon as a kid and still really enjoy the games as an adult... Although I'm not obsessed like my mum is..

On a completely different topic my housemate got me a gift while we were out today. He said he needed the toilet and disappeared for a bit then came back and we went about our day.
He wasn't in the toilet at all. He'd seen this in a shop window and went back to buy it for me because he knows I like Sailor Moon:

What he didn't think through is that I don't wear hats very often... Or like, at all... :duh:

But it'll look good hanging up regardless! And hanging up it can't get lost or damaged. I love it! :D

hello; I am on Direct satellite TV. I was told I will have to switch to HD next April and that will require all new equipment at even higher cost per month. There was also going to be a new contract period but I have been told that can be waived because I have been with them for years.

I have been checking out personal antennas. I live around 60 miles from the closest area TV broadcasters so was skeptical about getting any channels at all. I have tried three so far and have found I can get maybe 15 channels over the air. The one I have kept is amplified and rated for over 100 miles. The digital picture is very good to my surprise. The biggest issue I am trying to overcome now is having to turn the antenna to get different channels.

The channels are of local broadcasters and have in addition to their main regular broadcast up to three additional digital channel programs. If I let the satellite go I will give up some specific channels I do like which is a negative. But I will not be paying close to $140 a month as what I do get will be free after the cost of the antenna which was $69.

I have heard of but not yet tried TV that somehow comes thru an internet source.

The battle with satellite sucks. We had dish and now have direct tv. I hate them both. Dish I was at last used to how they work, but their system was so glitchy. All our recorded shows were messed up.

Now streaming tv(tv through internet) is great, Netflix we’ve had for a long time. We used to have Hulu too, but dropped it. Can’t remember why. I’ve come close to being done with satellite and gone back to streaming only.

Sadly we are too far out in the country to have cable. Not that I liked that much better, but I’d would give us more options.

Hello; It is my understanding the local TV stations have to broadcast over the air their channels. In my research so far I have read to reprogram my TV often as more and more over the air channels will be available as time goes by.
I do not yet know what I will wind up doing but I can have some TV from the antenna for sure.

My House!
It's a mouse?
Kinda. An electric mouse thing that shoots lighting and stuff.

Sorry for the terrible explanation, its 1am here, I've taken my tablets around an hour and a half ago and I've been non stop both mentally and physically since about 8am (not to mention stressing through my ath for the last 2ish weeks) and I'm absolutely pooped and ready to die for hopefully 8ish hours.

Night peeps. :)
