You know what really sucks bro. If they could charge this girl basically saying her words are used as a weapon.....what about the media.... they should/could be charge with all sorts of things... but they arent
Hello; I see you have already come up with a way to extend the particular case to an even broader potential application. I do not know if the judge and prosecutor somehow stretched existing law in the girls case. Beyond my knowledge of the law. But if law can be that elastic then maybe you have a point?

My House!
Hello; Thought of something from years ago. Next to a friend lived an elderly woman. The home she lived in belonged to her son who was in his late 40's or early 50's. He had a boy in his late teens or early 20's who was the old ladies grandson.
The son had a heart attack and died. The house went to the grandson. The grandson forced the grandma out so he could first move in himself and later to sell and pocket the money. I think the grandma had to move in with another relative.
Not as bad as the suicide girl I guess but still the grandson is a low life. What he did was legal but despicable. Do we twist our legal system every time someone does something we do not like so they get a punishment? poor example I guess but a true story.
Wow.

Maybe its just because all my grandmother's and great grandmother's have passed away, I don't know. But that is messed up on so many levels..
To put it bluntly, its f*cked.

Hello; Yes it was and I agree totally. I knew the old lady and her son. I did not really know the grandson but would love to have the ability to bend the law around so as to punish him and anyone else I do not like for that matter.
All my grandparents and mom and dad are gone but that is to be expected at my age.

I know an elderly woman in her 90's who had to move in with her son some years ago due to her age and having trouble getting up and down the stairs to her unit.

She sold her unit and her son told her he would convert his garage into a granny flat for her...
It took him ages to even start getting the plans ready for the conversion let alone waiting for approval from the council etc. Her flat was only finished a few months ago even though its been approved for years and her son isn't short on cash.

The low life was waiting it out hoping that if he left it long enough she would pass and he wouldn't have to lose his precious garage.
My ex and I were standing behind him in the supermarket and he didn't realize, the prick was telling the cashier that he was hoping his mum died so he wouldn't have to mess around. The cashier looked like she couldn't believe her ears and boy did he shuffle out of the supermarket when he noticed it was us queuing behind him.

I thought that was low as far as treatment of the elderly goes but that doesn't hold a candle to your story..

My House!
So I haven't had my cats and fish with me for 8-9ish months, they're all safe with my ex until I get my accommodation properly sorted.

The last few days at around 4pm I've had the weirdest craving. I want to do a water change.
All I want is to watch the water in the gravel vac go from clear to a slight cloudy colour then back to clear.
I want so bad to pull the canisters apart and clean the sponges, to swish the bio media around in a bucket and put it all back together.
To watch my babies play around in the bubbles as the tank fills up.
I want to fill little vials, shake chemical bottles for a few hours, put drops of chemical into the vials and watch it change colour and tell me my fish are in clean water and should be happy for another week.

I just want to do a water change. I've asked my ex if I can come around and do water changes the last few days but he hasn't finished work until after dark and ain't no way in hell I'm walking around there in the dark - not in this area!

Does anyone else get like this if they spend extended amounts of time away from their fish? Or am I just overly attached?
